Motivation is what explains why people or animals initiate, continue or terminate a certain behavior at a particular time. Motivational states are commonly understood as forces acting within the agent that create a disposition to engage in goal-directed behavior.
Now, what are those forces? The reality is that we all have an ultimate goal: HAPPINESS. And in the pursuit of happiness, we seek other goals which we think will take us to a happier life. These other goals are tightly intertwined with the forces that motivate us or can sometimes be the motivation force to create that motivated behavior.
Today I ask you...what motivates you? And...do you think that it is key to your happiness? Or should you realign your goals and motivation forces?
